Dear Readers,
We would like to inform that Ministry of Science and Higher Education
typed our journal Natural Environment Monitoring in unifed register of scored periodicals
on B list at number 1009 awarding 6 points

We are handing in the next 18(1) number of Natural Environment Monitoring periodical. On the basis of materials sent it was classifed to the following sections: Conception, Methods and Results.

In the Conception sections there are article presenting describes the conditions, concepts and demands of monitoring actions designed for the purpose of ecological restoration projects.

In the Method sections there are article presenting assessment of trends in the environment of Western Pomerania in the years 2000–2015 on the basis of data from the MODIS sensor.

Results contains five articles. They concern: natural environment pollution of Gardno Lake catchment based on biotic monitoring research of Integrated Monitoring of the Natural Environment programme, impact of municipal landfll on the nickel content in surrounding soils, possibility of nitrate monitoring in water based on mollusc bioindicative reaction, occurrence of heavy metals (Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn) in mosses in Kozienicki Landscape Park and Tatra National Park and variability of physicochemical properties of throughfall in the pine stands in Western Pomerania and Świętokrzyskie Mountains.

Hoping that the articles published in the periodical nr 18(1) will interest the readers we want to thank editorial Board and Reviewers for all the efforts to achieve high scientifc standard of periodical and the Authors for interesting research results
